Welcome to Trek Lovers. These Terms & Conditions govern the use of our services and apply to all bookings made through our website, office, representatives, or authorized booking partners.

By confirming a booking with Trek Lovers, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to comply with these Terms & Conditions, along with our Booking Policy and Cancellation Policy.

1. Booking Confirmation

A booking shall be considered confirmed only upon receipt of the required advance payment and issuance of a booking confirmation by Trek Lovers.

All bookings are subject to the availability of accommodations, transportation, permits, and other travel-related services.

Trek Lovers reserves the right to decline or cancel any booking if it cannot be operated due to operational, legal, or safety considerations.

2. Payment Policy

An advance payment is required to secure your reservation.

The remaining balance must be paid on the first day of the tour or trek, prior to the commencement of the journey.

Failure to complete the balance payment may result in the cancellation of the booking without any refund of the advance amount paid.

3. Cancellation & Refunds

All cancellations shall be governed by the Trek Lovers Cancellation Policy.

Refunds, where applicable, will be processed after deducting applicable cancellation charges, taxes, transaction fees, and any non-refundable expenses already incurred on behalf of the guest.

No refunds shall be provided for:

• No-shows.

• Late arrivals.

• Unused services.

• Voluntary withdrawal from the tour or trek after commencement.

4. Itinerary Changes

Trek Lovers reserves the right to modify, alter, postpone, or cancel any itinerary without prior notice in circumstances including, but not limited to:

• Adverse weather conditions

• Natural disasters

• Landslides or road blockages

• Government regulations or restrictions

• Political unrest

• Health emergencies

• Operational requirements

• Any force majeure event

Such decisions are taken solely in the interest of guest safety and operational feasibility.

5. Health & Fitness Requirements

Adventure activities involve physical exertion and participants are expected to be medically fit.

Guests are responsible for assessing their own physical condition before booking and must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, injuries, or medications that may affect their participation.

Trek Lovers reserves the right to refuse participation to any guest whose health condition may compromise their own safety or that of the group.

6. Travel Documents

Each participant is responsible for carrying all necessary documents, including but not limited to:

• Valid Government-issued Photo Identification

• Required permits

• Medical certificates (where applicable)

• Any other documents required by local authorities

Failure to produce the required documents may result in denial of participation without any refund.

7. Guest Responsibilities

All participants are expected to:

• Follow the instructions of Trek Leaders and Tour Coordinators.

• Respect fellow travelers, staff members, local communities, wildlife, and the environment.

• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

• Avoid carrying or consuming illegal substances.

• Conduct themselves in a responsible and respectful manner throughout the journey.

Trek Lovers reserves the right to remove any participant whose conduct is considered unsafe, disruptive, abusive, or unlawful. In such cases, no refund shall be provided.

8. Safety & Risk Acknowledgement

Adventure travel and trekking involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• High altitude

• Uneven terrain

• Slippery trails

• Falling rocks

• Sudden weather changes

• Wildlife encounters

• Transportation delays

• Physical exhaustion

By participating in any Trek Lovers program, guests voluntarily accept these risks and agree to take personal responsibility for their own safety while following all safety instructions provided by Trek Lovers.

9. Limitation of Liability

While Trek Lovers takes every reasonable precaution to ensure guest safety and comfort, the Company shall not be held liable for:

• Personal injury or illness resulting from inherent adventure risks.

• Loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings.

• Flight, train, or bus delays or cancellations.

• Additional expenses arising from unforeseen events.

• Delays caused by weather, road conditions, strikes, government actions, or natural disasters.

The Company’s liability shall, in all circumstances, be limited to the amount paid directly to Trek Lovers for the booked package.

10. Photography & Promotional Use

During tours and treks, photographs and videos may be captured for promotional and marketing purposes.

By participating, guests grant Trek Lovers permission to use such photographs or videos on its website, social media platforms, digital campaigns, and promotional materials unless a written objection is submitted before the commencement of the trip.

11. Force Majeure

Trek Lovers shall not be held responsible for any delay, modification, interruption, or cancellation of services arising from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Natural disasters

• Earthquakes

• Floods

• Pandemics

• Government restrictions

• Civil disturbances

• War

• Transportation disruptions

• Extreme weather conditions

Under such circumstances, refunds shall be subject to recovery from third-party service providers and applicable deductions.

12. Privacy

Trek Lovers values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.

Information collected during the booking process shall be used solely for operational purposes, customer communication, legal compliance, and service delivery. Personal information will not be disclosed to unauthorized third parties except where required by law or necessary for travel arrangements.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.

14. Acceptance of Terms

By making a booking with Trek Lovers, the guest confirms that they have carefully read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions, the Booking Policy, the Cancellation Policy, and all other applicable policies published by Trek Lovers.
